The Centre for Biomedical Technologies (CBT) aims to deliver better health in our lifetime, by improving how we treat complex medical cases stemming from injuries, infection and age-related issues.

The Centre’s research and development focuses on better patient treatments and quality of life into the future using regenerative approaches, robotics and artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing to expand surgical possibilities and reduce complications. CBT’s research areas include stem cells and tissue engineering; medical imaging, biomechanics, and robotic technologies; and medical device design and manufacturing.
