The Institute for Glycomics is an interdisciplinary translational biomedical research institute, based in the heart of Griffith University’s Gold Coast campus and the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct. The Institute boasts state-of-the-art facilities combined with some of the world’s most outstanding researchers focused on ‘glycomics’, a constantly expanding field that explores the structural and functional properties of carbohydrates (or sugars) and their roles in disease.

With an outstanding track record in translating biomedical discoveries to the clinic, our unique approach will play a major role in the discovery, development and commercialisation of next generation drugs, vaccines and diagnostics in infectious diseases, cancers and neurological disorders.
